Michael Coleman, certified by both the USPTA and USPTR , directs the tennis program at Sunset Hills. Named the USTA Georgia tennis professional of the year in 2010, Michael has been at Sunset Hills since 1992. He is the president of the West Georgia tennis association and in addition is the head women’s tennis coach for the University of West Georgia.   Michael has coached countless juniors to state rankings, has led many ALTA team to playoffs and city championships and worked with USTA teams who have won state titles.

Jonathan Wood joined the staff at Sunset Hills in 2014. He played collegiate tennis at Lagrange College before transferring to the University of West Georgia to major in Sport Management. While at West Georgia, Jonathan worked with Georgia Tech and Adidas tennis camps and also helped manage Durham Lakes Country Club in Fairburn, Georgia. After graduating he continued his work in tennis as a teaching professional at the Peachtree City Tennis Center for three years. Jonathan is a USPTA Certified Professional.
